Chronic Disease: What is it?

      Chronic Diseases are sicknesses that generally don't have a cure and get worse with age. Some patients who have diseases like Cancer and Diabetes have antibiotics to keep their symptoms under control but their life expectancy still isn't as high as a healthy individual. Their are ways to prevent chronic diseases but people are more prone to get them if the disease has touched their family before. These diseases mostly develop slowly and are progressive. The long-term effects of a these illness' may be difficult to predict and therefore hard to treat.
